Fedora 30 Update: 389-ds-base-1.4.1.5-1.fc30
The Fedora Linux distribution has updated its 389-ds-base package for the 389 Directory Server to version 1.4.1.5-1.fc30. The release announcement includes a list of the changes over the previous 1.4.1.4 version, including fixing a potential crash in the memberOf plugin, fixing a memory leak when using encryption, implementing a security section in the dsconf tool, fixing an ACI issue with IPv6 clients, and other changes.
389 Directory Server 1.4.1.5 and 1.4.0.25
The 389 Directory Server project has announced new 1.4.1.5 and 1.4.0.25 versions. The 1.4.0.25 version appears to address a potential crash in the memberOf plugin. The 1.4.1.5 release includes that fix, as well as fixing a memory leak when using encryption, implements a security section in the dsconf tool, fixes an ACI issue with IPv6 clients, and other changes.
Using 389DS With Docker
William Brown has written a Using 389ds with docker blog post about his progress toward production ready Docker support in the 389 Directory Server. There’s a sample Docker image, along with instructions for getting it set up and populated with some data. He also demonstrates some of the improved server’s command-line tools.

LDAPCon 2019, the seventh iteration of a conference on LDAP directory services, has been announced, and it’s going to be held on November 5–6 in Sofia, Bulgaria. The call for participation is open starting today, and it runs through August 1.
389 Directory Server 1.4.0.24
The 389 Directory Server version 1.4.0.24 has been released. According to the release page, updates in this release include a couple of TLS-related fixes, a log message update, and changes to administrative interfaces.

The Ping Identity Directory Server version 7.3.0.0 has been released, with lots of new features, enhancements, and fixes. I wrote about it in detail on my personal blog.
